What are customer groups?

 

User Segmentation is the practice of dividing a customer base into groups of individuals that are similar in specific ways like their interests, spending habits, new users, inactive users, Opted In users, Abandoned cart. Within a user group you can assign specific discounts and special offers. This segmentation helps businesses better understand and target their customers with personalized marketing and communication strategies.

 

For example, a clothing store may divide its customers into groups based on their preferred style or type of clothing they typically purchase, such as casual wear, formal wear, athletic wear, etc.

 

Once user groups have been established, businesses can create tailored marketing campaigns and promotions to target each group. For instance, a business may offer a discount on athletic wear to customers who have shown interest in sports or fitness, while offering a promotion on formal wear to customers who have recently purchased formal attire.




Steps to Create User group

 

1. Log in to your Superlemon account and navigate to the "Customers" section.

2. Within the "Customers" section, click on the "Customer Groups" subsection.

3. Click on the "Create Customer Group" button.

4. Name the User group based on the criteria you want to use to create the group.

5. Set the conditions for the group as per your needs. You can add up to three conditions to create any customer group.

6. Click on the "Save" button to create the group.

7. You can view a list of all the customer groups created in the "Customers" section of your Superlemon account.

8. Start engaging, communicating, promoting, and reaching out to this set of customers by clicking on the "Sent Message" button.

9. You can edit or delete this group by clicking on the respective icons.

10. You can download the data of the customers in this group by clicking on the download icon.
